Micro Action Figures

These action figures were constructed by Joe Gibbs from MuscleUK. He did an awesome job both with painting the figures and giving them articulation. We'll miss your talent, Joe!
-Nathan
This is a new project of mine, inspired by the work of a Japanese collector
who had converted some Kinnikuman figures by chopping them up and articulating
their limbs and heads. The full sized Kinnikuman Action Figures are a great
source of ideas, such as the interchangeable heads and accessories to illustrate
the character in different parts of the manga series.
Other AF's are also a good reference in the technical side,
for example in the way limbs are joined. Figures like G.I.Joe and He-Man
use ingenious methods to articulate little guys in a variety of ways.

The obvious
example of Star Wars figs is deliberately not used here since my opinion,
contrary to popular thinking, is that SW figures on the whole, suck (can't
wait to see the mail in response to that one). [Joe's opinions of Star Wars figures do not reflect those of Nathan's MUSCLE Page. I think they're pretty cool. -N] A decent figure should have
more joints than just at the shoulders and, as with most SW figs, at the
hip.
But enough of my rambling. In this section you'll see a
gratuitously illustrated foray into my world of M.U.S.C.L.E. Micro Action
Figures. Click on the image for a detailed look at each figure."
