This MUSCLE commercial features the pink figures and I believe it's the first MUSCLE commercial. Note that they are referred to as "MUSCLE Things", a nomer that I used frequently as a kid ("MUSCLE Things" sounds so much cooler than "MUSCLE Men" anyway). Specifically, I remember drooling over the fleeting shot of the Hand in the commercial.

JoeGuide reports that this MUSCLE commercial played during Arise, Serpentor, Arise!: Part III in September 1986. If this was the first commercial, it was played for roughly a year as the Ring/Belt commercial (see below) was played in September of '85.

This commercial displays the MUSCLE Wresting Ring and Battlin' Belt. It also features a weird Ashura Man (shown at left) not available in MUSCLE assortments.

According to JoeGuide, this MUSCLE commercial played during Countdown For Zartan in September 1985, indicating that MUSCLEs were first available at the latest in the last quarter of '85.

This last MUSCLE commercial shows both pink and colored figures. JoeGuide states that it played during Sink the Montana and Cobrathon in Fall 1986. Considering nothing new was released after the colored figures, this means that we only had about a year of MUSCLE bliss (maybe two if we consider that MUSCLEs were probably sold for a period of time both before the first commercial and after the last one).
